very handy bit of kit, but eats the batterys big time. For occasional use for this reason, unless you have loads of batterys.

Still good though(for the money) but i would think the newer bosch or makita systems would be far superior.

Its different to my 18v dewalt circular saw, but would agree that it'll soon drain the battery, but is fantastic for small jobs, such as cutting floorboard tongues to lift flooring to lay pipes.

My mate has the 14.4 and it is ok, I don't think he has ever had a problem with it!

Looks like a good little saw to use when you have to. Not for the big time yet. Did I see that right in 6 inch blade?

i had one of these for 6 years and it took some hammer, lots of hammer but it died just before christmas, the motor burned out, it was my fault i wanted to cut a 3m 40mm worktop in one pass 3m ways, it did the job and it still works now but smokes :lol:
i have upgraded to the newer model the bigger one that cuts 55mm, see if this will lst aslong as the other

I have had the cordless circular saw now for around 7 years and it still works like new.
The batterys are a problem we have about 15 batterys .
All our tools are Dewalt and to be honest i have been very happy with them.

I have one of those!!! Great bit of kit, nowdays, all my batteries are shot so the saw has little use.
