some would be burgalar ripped off my letter box flap on a upvc door now it will sit in the groove but there are no plastic nibs to keep it in as they were broke off...any ideas?? thought about silicone but too light...is there a plastic weld type of solution???

is the flap metal or plastic!!!
how thick is it !!!

my thought are to use somthing like pannel pins into tight drilled holes and glued in if enough "meat"

or a sutable bit off wire glued full length and through the holes
or see if you can source a new flap!!

bought a new letterbox 12.99 from B&Q a lot firmer the original didnt even have trough bolts in it to secure both sides of the letterbox
