Hi there 
Came across this excellent website and thought that i had better join.
I have an engineering background and am Corgi gas registered but dont tend to do much any more and when my registration falls due next time i will let it lapse, but that doesnt stop me from doing stuff around my houses.

Hi Dave,
I know a few people that have also let their corgi registration lapse as it was so expensive and also you have to take a few days out to complete it as well.

Agreed about the costs in keeping registered. The sparky industry is moving in the same direction as CORGI - expensive that is, just to keep a bunch of people unable to do a proper job employed. Moan over
