I am a rural wench (A good Cheshire name for a woman) and I like the innocence of LOTSW, I love those old guys, something heart warming about them in this day and age! So there! Moony

I liked All Creatures Great and Small (I even read the books!) so I can do Rural and Innocent, I just really, really hated that program.

LOTSW was cult viewing among my schoolfriends for some reason I have never fathomed scratch

I remember in the days of the 3 day week, when the TV shut down at 10:30pm (try telling that to kids nowadays without getting a "yeah, right" response), my favourite adventure program was possibly 'Cannon' with William Conrad as an extremely fat detective who somehow still managed to catch villians when chasing after them on foot ( Shocked Laughing).

Watched that and then head to bed before the National Anthem started (and try telling that to kids as well nowadays about how TV used to end with the National Anthem!)

I remember the days of "d*ck Barton, Special Agent" in the days when d*ck was a diminutive of Richard rather than the current slang name for a male appendage.

Shocked
