Had landing carpet laid and where it met floorboards in bathroom fitter put a metal edge.

Now I've put vinyl down in the bathroom with hardborad underlay it is similar height to carpet and won't easily fit under metal edge.

What do you do?

By 'metal edge' I meant a doorbar is there already going from carpet to floorboard. But how do I get hardboard and vinyl under bar?

I know you have a door bar, but is it a specific carpet to vinyl door bar?

You need to take the carpet out of the door bar, unscrew the door bar from the floor and feed the vinyl under the bar, screw it back down and put the carpet back into the bar.
