Isn't it amazing that someone else's job seem to be easier, better, with more pay, more time off, less stress which makes us feel hard done by! Crying
No matter what job you do, there are good days, boring days, days when someone p*sses you off, but now matter what, every job has its specific skills and ways of providing job satisfaction. If not, then its time to find something that does. Thumbright

I remember a quote from a Peter Crouch interview I read a while back ....

Interviewer: "So, Peter, What do you think you would be if you weren't a Footballer"
Peter Crouch: "A Virgin"

Fireman, definitely! Yes they do provide a service, but really hacked me off during one of their strikes when they slagged off the armed forces that had to cover their shifts, who by the way were picking up less money than them and some were even more highly qualified fire fighters than they were!

Do a good job yes - heroes, the odd individual in the right situation yes, all of them no, just wish the greedy feckers would also stop working on the side.

I think firemen do a great service, especially when they park up their appliance outside of King Georges hall in Blackburn on a Saturday night and let all the young drunk girls climb into the appliance Sad

I'm sure that not all firemen are bad, the ones in Blackburn used to park up next to the hydrant near to King Georges hall, not sure if they were pretending to fill the appliance or check the hydrant, but I'm sure there was a better time to do it rather then Saturday night Wink

District nurses. (especially the ones who do shift work)

They go out to peoples homes to change dressings and make sure that they are generally ok. The rest of the time they are shopping in 24 hour Asda/Tesco.

I totally agree with the footballers statement.

Politicians. I could speak all day about this one. Especially the ones who have a second home paid by the tax payers. Im sure I am right in saying that they recently voted to keep their second homes and other privelages.

There was a recent picture of an SNP member who was supposedly on holiday in pakistan. He was pictured firing a Kalashnikov rifle at a non military training camp. scratch His family were also pictured firing the rifle.

Amazingly he keeps his job. What the ?

leave the footballers alone; if they didnt get the cash the fat cats would instead. and really its us that watch it so much are to blame.... no demand = no footy.

politicians for me the the scum of the earth; the ones that knock on your door for a few days a year to get your vote. the same ones you dont see after that.

That's not so easy to do if you were born into a farming family and have known nothing else. Not every farmer is rich, they work long hours 365 days of the year, no knocking off at 4pm.

Premier League Football Players - over paid c**ts with big egos because they are treated like heroes when they are anything but

Film Stars in fact ANY media celebrity - a couple of million a year for that cock Jonathan Ross? He's funny but I could live without him

Modern Pop Artists - like that gormless cow Tracy M&M. This lot are supported by rich idiots with more money than taste

Defence lawyers that defend obviously guilty folk - How do they sleep at night?

Cosmetic Anything Surgeons - supported by people with more vanity and money than sense
