Hi everyone,does anybody know what type of mix i need for the paste please?
It say balls all on the label, its 1700 grade ad walls have been sized.

You should have mixing instructions on the paste packet with a sliding scale of water to paste depending on the paper.
Up to 1400 paper I just mix for "normal paper" but higher than that I tend to go a bit thicker eg for a 9L "normal" mix I'd go down to 8L. Dunno if this is technically correct but has worked fine for me over the years.
Don't skimp on soaking time with the 1700, its like cardboard when dry! |
