Just bought one of these babies after seeing the bosch multitool review on here.
Wow what a versatile tool to have. My main reason for buying it was it can cut a section of skirting board out whilst still on the wall.Since getting it ive found stacks of uses for it.
As a locksmith its extremely useful for frame repairs after burglaries.It makes it soooo much easier grafting in a new piece to the frame.
Used it to cut through hidden "chisel reaping nails" in frames when chopping in mortice locks.It really is becoming one of those tools that i wonder how i did without before ( making the impact driver lose its place  )
Its well thought out too,a quick change blade system is easy to use.The box is thought out with a couple of compartments for blades and the box can take tthe tool fitted with a blade.
A nifty vacuum suction attachment with various adaptors is a nice touch.The amount of add on blades etc impressed me the most,this is going to have so many uses out in the van.
It can even sharpen chisels !! I can see all those old school carps and cabinet makers cringing already LOL
A good bit of kit for the pro or serious hobbyiest, and loads of videos demoing it on youtube. |

I have the cheaper Bosch model, but agree that there are hundreds of uses for it. They are a great piece of kit

| Argos are selling a Worx model for the same price as the Bosch. Not much info about for it though |

I have been using the Fein Multimaster for several years now, probably the most versatile power tool I have ever owned, it has got me out of a LOT of 'sticky' situations.
Yes some people whinge about the cost of the E-cut tool (about £30 for the proper one, watch out for cheap versions, they are junk) but as far as I am concerned £30 pays for itself in no time at - just be very careful that you don't hit nails with the Fein.

This tool got me out of a right sticky job the other day. Had to remove a mesh grille that was tiled in. The painted over pop rivets turned out to be machine screws but the feign soon cut them out. Along the way one of the surrounding tiles got broken but just like the video i cut out the grout and removed the tile then smoothed the adhesive so the customr could replace the tile with a spare he had.Only an hours work but a very happy customer.
The biggest thing was this customer called many locksmiths to remove a grille and after various calls i said yes to the challenge.This tool meant i completed the job and more importantly gained a new longterm customer .
Many fail to see the longterm worth of a customer, a big mistake especially when times are hard. |

Lockie I wish the plumbing fraternity of West Suffolk thought the same about long term customers. If we do hit a full blown recession they may be one of the first to moan.
