Can anyone tell what measurements the Treads and Risers should be when building decking steps?

I'm looking at a height of 33inch and am unsure as to how far outthey will reach....
Any thoughts?

The reach can be what you like within reason, but each drop must be the same, for example you could have 4 x 8.25" drops with 10" boards

So with 4 x 8in risers, that would be 3 x 10 in treads giving me a length of 30inch?
