i have a white knight 44AW tumble dryer and it wont dry the clothes with warm air, its just cold air whitch is coming through. Can the problem be explained please. _________________ a.s.parkin |

This could be a common problem.....it may be the thermostat(s) that have tripped and need replacing. Mine go every 12months or so (not a White Knight).
They are releatively easy to replace if you know where they are. Do a search on fleebay for the replacement parts. |

The element failed in our last dryer, I replaced it, and it lasted two weeks! Not because I'd done it wrong, but a piece of metal from an underwired bra had come out and gone through the back of the drum.
WARNING.
If the thermostats are of those circular types that go blip-blip like jam jar lids, be warned. The low temp one is resettable, but the high temp one does not reset and stays open circuit. _________________ I started out with nothing, I still have most of it. |
