i have a white knight 44AW tumble dryer and it wont dry the clothes with warm air, its just cold air whitch is coming through. Can the problem be explained please.

This could be a common problem.....it may be the thermostat(s) that have tripped and need replacing. Mine go every 12months or so (not a White Knight).

They are releatively easy to replace if you know where they are. Do a search on fleebay for the replacement parts.

The element failed in our last dryer, I replaced it, and it lasted two weeks! Not because I'd done it wrong, but a piece of metal from an underwired bra had come out and gone through the back of the drum.

WARNING.

If the thermostats are of those circular types that go blip-blip like jam jar lids, be warned. The low temp one is resettable, but the high temp one does not reset and stays open circuit.
