Hi,
It's time to part-do my garden up and I want to construct a raised flowerbed and was considering using sleepers to build it.
The garden is largely concreted over with a [approx] 2'x10' area left as soil for flowers and vegitation. I was going to alter that dimenion so it is roughly 4'x7'. This would involve removing some of the concrete laid down.
The question that I have is what should the bottom set of sleepers sit on? Should it be over a concrete foundation, compacted dirt or some other substrate?
Cheers!
