Help please, girlfriend has 1 of these, the n/s front indicator bulb has gone. The instructions are rubbish. The only way I can see to change bulb is to remove front grill but not sure. Any help greatly appreciated!!  |

Have a look for a plastic nut type fastener. Some vehicles have these and you have to unscrew the plastic thing and then the indicator is pulled away from the vehicle and then when the lamp is changed you push it back and then replace the plastic threaded fastner.
Here is how to do it on a BMW-

| thanks 4 help Chez but it ain't like that or that simple.We can see the thing that needs to be undone, but you need to have very small hands and be a triple jointed contortionist to get at it! There is a hole in the metal that is about 2 inches across, the plastic fitting is inside this, right next to the fuse box ( non removable). 'cant fit any tools in either . This is very frustrating, as it should be a five minute job. Girlfriend is getting very cheesed off. There must be an easier way. |

Easiest way is to trade the car in,especially if the ashtray is full as well! 
Never had one of those so can't really help.

Cant say i know on that vehicle, some stuff is a real pain sometimes though.
Probably quicker to take the grill off than to attempt to get in there otherwise

The bloomin manufacturers make it as hard as possible for people to fix things on their own cars purposely and then they can charge more money at the garage!
I'm surprised they have not designed a car where you have to remove the engine to change the spark plugs yet.

take the grill off if you cant find a way in; most modern cars have so much crap behind the lights that you have to take it half apart to change a sidelight  |

On my old VW the gap behind one light fitting is big enough to get into and have a dance.
But you can only get to the fitting on the other side by dismantling the entire air intake system.
Guess which is the one that always goes ...
