Hello all

I have fitted two 10 foot, 1.5 inch diameter TV aerial poles at the end of a roof terrace to attach washing lines. I have a two line retractable washing line box attached to the house. The washing lines end with a plastic tab with a hole within them.

I am getting by through tying the lines round the poles when in use but I would ideally like some kind of hook on the end of the poles to easily affix and remove the lines.

Can anyone recommend a suitable hook?

More importantly, can anyone recommend a suitable method to attach the hook to the metal pole?

I was trying to look for a long threaded screw with a hook end that I could drill through the pole and then bolt the other end?

Anyone seen something like this or get a better suggestion.

Many thanks

Derek

I'm sure you can get them cheaper by the time you have included postage. B&Q also sell them.

Just what i had in mind.
Obviously, youd need to use a nut either side of the pole. :thumbleft:

Thanks Hitch and Mike

That is just what I need, I've ordered a set and will be showing off my handiwork to the other half in due course!
