fitting an electric shower to replace one that works off the combi . Took off the mixer bar to find two 22 mm male threads protruding from tiles . Ok so far so good . Need to reduce down to 15mm to terminate into shower and one stop end as only cold feed required for electric shower . Fine . Went to plumbcentre and the guy sold me a reducer . The only thing is you take out the oliver from the connector to fit the reducer and now the 15mm tube wont stay in once tight . Am i just thick or how the hell do i sort this out . I'm not a plumber ! help me please

Well would have thought he would have given you a bent 3/4'' female to 22mm compression fitting with a 15mm reducing kit to fit in the 22mm compression side if you are doing that way,you need to but the olive kit in fitting to make joint with pipe
However I would have unscrewed the 22mm male thread fittings you were left with coming out wall and you will find you will be left with 1/2 female threaded fitting in wall that you could link up to easier and tidier

Cheers mate . Unfortunately only the thread is exposed and what i can see appears to be soldered on from behind . To get to anything more would mean destroying tiles and digging wall out which i would much rather avert as the tiles are old and huge . This would mean tiling it again from scratch . However the bent 3/4 to 22mm sounds like what I need . Thanks
