Hi again forum.
Got a potential job that amongst other things includes sorting out the customers porch thats been built with just one brick width. The lady wants it sorted so its nice and smooth which ain't a problem but the fact that theres a pvc window in the porch may be. It comes straight up to edge of the wall with no give or recess at all.
I was thinking of either dot and dabbing to sort this out and put a stop bead at the point where the edge of the window begins. Or just going over with hardwall of bonding and skimming over the top but this may look a bit odd when its a good 12-15mm from the edge of the window.
Any suggestions out there? Or should I say that thats just the way it would have to be cause of the thickness of the wall? |

Hi pmg,
I would use s/c backing if it is 1/2 brick thick and you could get some upvc profile beading and silicone it around the window to create an edge which you can plaster up too. _________________ What was the best thing before sliced bread? |
