Hi,

My father in law has asked me to plaster his spare room, it is a new build house and hes stripped the wall paper off to the plasterboard and so the surface of the board is torn and not as new.
I dont want to have to re board the room, so how would you suggest plastering over it? do I just PVA to seal it?
I've never come across this before

Cheers

you can get away with scrimming over the exsisting joints and some of the worse tears in the board then just pive it a good couple of coats of pva of thistle bondit go give you a better key but the bondit is expensive you might be better off buying wickes bonding agent, but again only if your worried about a key, pva will suffice aslong as you give it a good 2 coats
