I need to plaster over some channels in the walll which I’ve run for new pipe work. The copper pipes are in lagging and the brickwork is the black breeze block style bricks.

I am going to use hardwall and then a multi finish but, do I need to PVA 1st? Or will the hardwall straight into the channel be ok?

Second question - how soon afterwards can I do the final skim?

Thanks.

Pva. Bonding or hardwall. Skim same day, if not, pva before multi. If skim same day beware of air bubbles in finish so be patient.
