This is probably an obvious question, but I will ask you experts anyway.
I have a property where a dividing wall has been knocked out and a wooden lintel and side supports have been added to form an archway between the 2 rooms.
I plan to have the whole 2 rooms walls and ceilings skimmed, so my question is can plaster be bonded direct onto wood or would I need to fix plaster board over it first?
Regards,

Thanks skiking.
That's what I thought the answer would be, but it's better to ask a silly question now than later after the work has been done!
