Hi Guys
How do I plaster board around a door frame without the edge showing between facing and frame, Do I use a strip of timber like 1/2 from frame edge same thickness as the board or is there a profile facing can buy ???

the door frame should cover the edge of the plasterboard
it sounds like you are overboarding something and your door lining arnt wide enough
I would put wider door linings in _________________ Decking |

If the situation is as Tim describes it, I've been there myself.
On walls where the new boards really do stick out proud from the wall by a good 1/4" I used wider door linings.
But if its a matter of ball hairs I took a door surround and routed a recess down the entire length on the plasterboard side. I only had to take it down a few 1/16ths for it to fit snug as a bug... |
