can anyone help me out,just wondering if there is a training centre that does a course for external damp course,just looking into getting into it i live in an area where a lot of the houses suffer from it,cheers

most of em do mate, sovereign, triton etc...

big problem is offering 30 year insurance backed guarantees... dpc is useless without one, all to do with the mortgage companies etc..

correct diagnosis is key, and specification but the actual hacking off, drilling and injecting is donkey work...
replastering takes a plasterer...

most damp companies cover the whole range, structural ties, woodworm, dry/wet rot, tanking, condensation and good old drill and inject, all made good afterwards...

some also do basements, french drains, soakaways, external weatherproofing

big subject.... and expensive but if youre under 26 the princes trust is always an option, provided you can throw a good plan together....
