seems like photobucket are selling emailadresses ??
received an email hover on the link says photobucket offers
but at the bottom its says PBDeals offers
so just scroll to the bottom and unsubscribe
read the blurb at the bottom
"PBDeals is the Newest Addition to the Photobucket Family
Because Photobucket is already the best place on the planet to safeguard and share photos,
we are pleased to bring you great offers selected just for our members."

they have also changed there policies - you have to, have a pro account if you want them to host pictures for a forum (long term)

Big issues around photobucket. There's no point paying £££ to use it to host images. Plenty of free ones. I'm using imgur which also has a iPhone app too.

I've never used them. I looked at it but didn't like the interface IIRC.
I wonder how long it will be before they have a rethink. I can understand them wanting to make money off the site, and what they are doing in effect is providing a service which other people either use to make money, or which saves other sites the cost of hosting the images.
But the sudden, large jump from nothing to $399 or whatever it is has upset an awful lot of people.
