Hi Guys,
Just been pulling down old tiles in the bathroom and in places some of the plastering has come off in big lumps all the way back to the breeze blocks!
The old plaster is rather old and gone a bit powdery behind the skimmed surface. I need some advise on the best way to patch up these holes?
Can i just apply some PVA and then apply some more plaster? |

| Hack back to where is solid, PVA bonding then finish. If its all cr*p then hack it all off and put up a sheets of plasterboard. |

If you can get is all hacked of using a bolster chisel it shouldn't take that long - depends on the size of the wall. Worst part is clearing up and the dust . PVA the wall a couple of times and dot'n'dab some plasterboard up which shouldn't take you tool long. |
