hiall
i have noticed recently a current trend for painted and not tiled bathrooms, ie painting around the bath/sink.
whats the best way of achieving this (for a good and long lasting finnish),
do you just use good paint on skimmed plasterboard or would you back with aquapanel then paint on top of that?

The simpelist way is to use good quality paint, you can improve the longevity by useing a 'diamond' paints from Dulux.
As a feature, you could have a peice of glass cut and the eadges polished, have the corners drilled and fit this over the top, looks stuning with chrome screw caps, obviousley this way will cost more, but it is an option worth considering. _________________ I'm not a roman mum, I'm a kike, a yid, a heebie, a hook-nose, I'm kosher mum, I'm a Red Sea pedestrian, and proud of it! |

| I agree the Diamond /Real life range is excellent, the only down side is when touching up its a real swine for flashing. The Crown product Extreme Clean is a good finish but not a very "user friendly" paint  |

'Flashing' is a trade term for showing where it has been touched up. _________________ I'm not a roman mum, I'm a kike, a yid, a heebie, a hook-nose, I'm kosher mum, I'm a Red Sea pedestrian, and proud of it! |
