Hi

I have an outside tap that hasnt been used in a while and when we came to use it today it just trickles out water from the tap. The tap is connected to our combi boiler as below pics.

Please can someone help me to get this tap working again.

I expect the washer is stuck, or the gate valve isn't open.

Not a good idea to connect the tap to the combi :shock:

how i find the washer and gate valve to loosen them?

am a total novice when it comes to things like this.

The washer will be in the tap, you have to unscrew the body, but try turning it on and off a few times it may clear.

Inside there will be a valve on the pipe that goes through the wall.
