dont know where to start

its my mobile home... no no read on dont leave me
the bedroom end is ok... but the living room end... pulled up old ugly floor
to reveal masses of damp oin corners and the beginnings of white mould on the chipboard floor... removed 3mm ply wall panel.... sweet jesus! the 30 X 30 mm studding is in parts dark green/black from all the moisture/water penetration from outside :cb
and these battens are glued and screwed from the outside... so cant go pulling them apart or il take the whole wall apart and the window frames there attached to

i have 18mm WPB to replace the damaged flooring... but what should i do with the walls!
thinking of puting the kingspan over the stud work and sealing up joints between sheets of kingspan and plying over the kingspan and sealing up any gaps on the outside of mobile... i understand that this is not solving the problem of the damaged stud work... but if a seal the knigspan good...
lord this is not what i was planning to have to worry about!

any help advise would be great folks... and dont suggest burning it as i'm tempted to already... but then il be homeless!

You need to find out if there is a leak at the roof level or where ever it is, there's a good paint available from screwfix that is good at sealing leaking roofs it comes in balck or grey, I used it on my caravan but i can't remembers its name. If its condensation you need to unbloke or make provision for more ventilation, when you say mobile home is it a static or tourer type?

You could screw new battens (screw through from the outside) adjacent to the old ones before removing the old ones.

thanks very much for the reply caravan72 and kellys eye

its a static... the living room end has a big window and a smaller one eah side of that which cut at 45degrees to meet the side walls.... but there is the square over hang above and below theses corner windows were the gutter end! so pretty sure thats were the leak is... so the plan is to seal up the outside of theses corners... il go up and take a couple pics and post them(if i can post them!)
its very fustrating when your looking at something thats bollix'd and know one there beside you to scratch the head with you while trying to figure a way to fix the problem....
this site is the bees knees!

right away to the mobile with the camera....
