I hope it's ok to post this in here, I am NOT asking for money or donations! This is just to raise awareness of MOvember which is fairly new in this country and there are lots of males [and females!] on here that may want to be part of it!!

This November I've decided to get hairy and grow a moustache for MOvember. Click HOME PAGE if you don't want to read through all my dribble!

I want to be an active participant in the movement that is changing the face of men's health. I'm also committed to tackling men's health issues and being proactive in the fight against prostate cancer...and I want you all on our team.

Basically throughout the month of November, you grow a Mo! [moustache]. You're not allowed a beard [except a tiny ticklet if you prefer] but your moustache can be as handlebar or Hitler as you like. Before and After pictures are a necessity!

The full rules are available on the website link below!

Our team is called the MO FOs.

To join the MO FOs team go to http://uk.movember.com/uk/register and follow the steps. Once registered you'll be sent all the information you need to get donations and get growing as part of our Movember team.

You will need these details to complete your online registration:

Captain's Registration Number: 1356946
Captain's Email Address: patrick.oc@btinternet.com

Men's health is a major issue. Did you know:

- Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK
- 35,000 men are diagnosed every year and one man dies every hour
- 1 in 11 UK men will be diagnosed in their lifetime

The money raised by Movember is used to raise awareness of men's health issues and donated to The Prostate Cancer Charity which will have an enormous impact on many men's lives and the awareness will help us to fight prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.

For those that have supported Movember in previous years you can be very proud of the impact it has had and can check out the details on the website

IF YOU WANT TO TAKE PART, PLEASE DO NOT FEEL YOU HAVE TO JOIN MY TEAM!

IT IS EASY TO START YOUR OWN AND I WOULD PREFER PEOPLE TOOK PART IF THEY COULD, IN WHATEVER WAY THEY FEEL COMFORTABLE!

Stoday,

A close relative is battling with bl**dy cancer now! :cb Not something I'd joke about. :cussing: I will be walking the 84 mile Hadrian's Wall path next year in 3 days for the Cancer Research charity. Moustaches tickle, why would I want one for goodness sake I'm a girl!

Isn't IDBI NICE Bluds?

He knows you're a mere woman and therefore can't make up your mind about whom you should converse, so he's helping you out by telling you what you should do.

This gallant male attitude is inborn in those who dream of yesteryear. You'll adopt the old feminine servile attitude and obsequiously do as he suggests won't you Bluds?

All the best Paddy, I applaud any promotion of mens health - its quite a problem, not so much through lack of knowledge but cracking the stud-mentality and ego associated with anything in the trouser department.

Would love to join you, but I ain't shaving off my whiskers to start all over again, quite apart from the fact that once shaved, Mrs A would much prefer to keep me that way!
