I went into my local Sports Direct recently looking for their Dunlop work socks. The place doesn't seem to have any logic in their layout and, on the verge of giving up, I asked a very nice female where I might find them.

£7 for 5 pairs OR £11 for two packs. That's £1.10 a pair.

I've yet to use them but.......at that price.......... :dunno:

11p per toe (or just over 9p if you're from Norfolk) - what's the problem?

I pay £15:00 for two pairs of Bridgedale Liner socks, they're all I ever wear now, all the same colour, pick any two from the sock drawer.

Just invested in a pair of indestructables from HJ Hall made in Leicester remember having them for school as a kid. An alternative to the cheap stuff turned out in Datang (Sock City) which haven't lasted very long and the bits end up all over the carpet and in the washing machine

I believe that £1.10 per pair is a good price, I suggest you to try the Indestructible Work Boot Socks, Broad Rib with Half Hose (HJ1) they just cost around £5.00 online and they come in sizes between 6 and 11

I get army surplus socks
They're really hard wearing.

As someone said the cheap ones end up disintegrated on your bedroom floor.

I wouldn't give Mike Ashley the steam of my shite. Have you seen how he treats his staff.
