Nothing. Its still "not there" I spoke to my neighbour and he said he had been let down by a builder who was going to rebuild it.......and so have I.

No. No point.

The insurance company will no doubt pay up. BUT, so as not to be out of pocket, they will then claim the money they paid me, and more for "admin fee" from my neighbour. This in turn will "upset" him so making things bad between us.

Yes, he is responsible, but its easier if I get it done and then give him the bill. But as I also said (here is the annoying part) he said he will get it done, and the builder never turned up, a builder I know came by and said he will do the job tomorrow (which is now today) and he never turned up either.

Oh sorry for not "filling in the gaps"

A few days later I noticed all the "rubbish" had gone and It was a miserable day. (The rubbish, being what was left piled up of the old wall) A few days after that I came home and the wall was all rebuilt. :-)
On Christmas day our neighbour called round and said that he saw the builder, and spoke to him and paid in full for the wall, and Merry Christmas.

So all ended well :thumbleft: . Too dark now to take a picture.
