It's good to be joining you. My name is Tony and I run the Handyman Network at HandymanHome. So far we have around 70 members, quite a few of whom use these forums and find them very helpful. Hi all, I have just found this forum and I think its great.
I'm only a member for 10 minutes and I already have a question.
Would anyone be good enough to tell me how to measure an internal angle so that I can cut it on my mitre.
It is where the chimney breast is and I want to put up picture rail and I was going fine until now !!!

hya peeps, going to be doing a lot of home improvements over the next 2 years and i figured this is the best place to start, i like having a crack at stuff myself but the end result isnt always what i,d pictured, still learning at 37. :wink:

Hi all, i am an approved electricain living in burton upon trent in staffordshire,I work for an ECA/NICEIC approved company that employ 150+ electricians/trainees and apprentices.I enjoy most practical hobbies and like to help people to sort out there little difficulties with electrical things. Hope my advice can be of use to people here and look forward to helping

Name is Allan; I'm a refugee from Glasgow living in deepest Fylde coast now.

Formerly never qualified in anything except I have my Ham Radio Licence!

My Dad was a Fireman for 28 years and when he joined just after the war, only tradesmen could become Firemen. He was a qualified Plumber and Gas Fitter and I was his Mucker for many years from a wee boy. So plumbing I'm OK on, the rest ...

Im new on this forum, my name is Charlie and im from Nottingham.
Im very interested in Joinery/Carpentry and i am looking for an apprenticeship, although my GCSE's arnt very good, i have an NVQ level 2 in construction. Would any one please be able to advice me on joinery apprenticeships? thanks, Charlie

New to the board but not to higher league DIY (and still learning more)

A Facilities and Health & Safety Manager from Newcastle on Tyne, I like DIY and new projects.

Looks a good board and hopefully I can supply advice as well and get some when neded
