PostPosted: Tue Dec 11, 2018 11:31 am
Hi All,

Looking for some advice. I recently had my car written off and needed to buy a car quickly and cheaply so I bought a Peugeot 206 and through a silly mistake by myself started to notice some problems.

1. Took the oil cap off and saw white gunge.
2. Checked the expansion tank and saw brown gunge.

Spoke to the place I bought it from and they said they would check it out ...

Hi guys, I need your advice. I'm going to buy a Hyundai Creta, but recently I read that in this model there are often problems with the electrician. I hardly know the Hyundai brand, this is my first experience

PostPosted: Tue Nov 20, 2018 12:30 pm
Hi all,

I am as new to car maintenance as things comes. It has never been my strong skill or interest but i am slowly wanting to learn more.

Hoping someone could give me an idea of possible causes as to why one rear window (passenger side) all of the sudden has decided that if you want the window to go back up by pulling the switch it is not responding at all.

To lower ...

Post subject: Dim headlights on a Honda Civic.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 15, 2018 6:36 pm
Hi,

My car has just failed its MOT because of severely reduced light intensity on both headlamps. The mechanic suggested checking the bulbs were properly fitted (which I have done), and if they are, replacing both headlamp units as the reflective coating is probably worn out.

Post subject: Hyundai Tucson 06 seat buckles help
PostPosted: Thu Nov 08, 2018 5:18 pm
I have recently bought some replacement buckles as the ones I had were broken. I removed one set absolutely fine but when I came to attaching the replacements the bold seemed to just get cross threaded. I tried the original bolt first and then the one that came with the replacements and the exact same thing happened. Is it possible the thread on the actual car for the bolt is damaged, and is there anything ...

The wife used it to do two runs on about 2 miles in total and the red battery light came on during the second run on mon eve.
I put a voltmeter across the battery ...
