Post subject: Makita MLS100 Mitre saw. Cutting depth/width question
PostPosted: Fri Apr 01, 2011 8:12 am
HI, I'm wanting to purchase the Makita mitre saw, as it gets very good reviews, but the cutting depth of 75 and width 130 is a bit shy for the job in mind (cutting 6" x 2" solftwood) I read somewhere about increasing these parameters slightly by using "a packer" I think it was called. Can anyone help me with this - or suggest an method (please keep it simple). I think the suggestion was ...

Post subject: Have a bit of problem with new drill
PostPosted: Thu Mar 31, 2011 4:55 pm
While setting it up, the joint became disconnected and it won't reconnect. It's a Black and Decker 14.4v hammer drill EPC148VBA.

I've spoken to B&D and their repairs department who suggest sending it away to be looked at or returning it to the store. However one of the guys suggested this model might just be like that and not a fault however before that he also said it should revert back on different settings so ...

PostPosted: Mon Mar 28, 2011 6:46 pm
Looking for a washer and found a website called - Karcher Outlet - Managed for Kärcher by JMS Janitorial Supplies Ltd
They are offering refurbished Karcher pressure washers with 6 months warranty and an option to add a further 6 months.

Anybody know if the washers they sell are reliable?
Is Karcher Outlet reliable, or should they be avoided?

:dunno:
I`m a complete novice to DIY so some advice on drills would really be appreciated. I need a lightweight drill (why are they so heavy??) to tackle jobs including hanging heavy pictures/drilling masonry to attach frame for garden climbers etc. Need guidance on whether I need just a drill or a hammer drill (have no idea what that means, it just comes up in advertising) Imagine ...

Post subject: Router table and table saw
PostPosted: Wed Mar 23, 2011 8:54 pm
