 Post subject: Help! name the screwdriver bit

Hi. I'm looking for a screw driver to undo the screw pictured. Its a really difficult one as no one I asked has ever seen it before. I asked in Maplin and they said that I need a security bit but they havent got one. The device is made in China.

The screwdriver bit would need to be hollow with 3 prongs going outward as the centre of the screw is more raised in the ...

Hey all.

I need to cut sheet metal (0.8-1.3mm) with as neat a cut as possible.

I have been using my dremel up until now, and it does a decent job with a diamond wheel but it's too slow/small and not quite as precise.

So, I have been looking around and I found two tools:

1.) The Worx WX424. It's a circular-saw that is about twice as big as the dremel's and it seems powerful ...

anyone got one of those van vaults? the van we just bought has a partitioned off section at the side door. so i could fit one in and just use the side door for tools etc.

As i got some cash for christmas i was thinking about treating myself to a new work light,at the moment i buy the cheap ones from the pound shops they work ok but the build quality is naff which is what you would expect for around a fiver a go,

the criteria is
battery powered (maybe rechargable from the van 12v supply)
small compact pocket size
bright enough to see around a pub cellar ...

you can off course add to any off the the reviews already there

the tools can be any tools regardless off manufacturer or cost its just to help other with an honest review unlike the ones connected to tool sites where they only post the good ones with ...

Just been browsing Axminsters sale section.

Hot air gun for £8.96.

Used a few of the white axminster own brand gear in the past, its not top of the range, but works.

Few other bits there, worth looking through, RO sander, planer, all at very cheap prices :thumbright:

 Post subject: Can Power Converter Burn Because Of 10Hz Difference?

If i buy power converter and use it to convert 110V, 60Hz to 220V, 50Hz for charging cordless drill/driver , will such 10Hz difference impact stability of converter or even burn it?

Thinking about getting a jigsaw as I have a oldish Aldi own one at the moment and it doesn't sound too healthy, which was left to me in my grandads tool collection, but don't want splash out too much as it won't be used that often so had a look at this
