has anyone sucesfully just replaced brushes and had fully working ...

PostPosted: Mon Oct 15, 2012 7:27 pm
Hello again
I've recently been looking at adding to my tool collection and I've half decided on these two models, but any other advice would be appreciated.

The models are the Bosch GCM 8SJ and the Bosch GCM 10S.
Although the latter has a better cutting capacity I like the idea of a soft start on the 8SJ and also that it has a laser and light, just in case.

Does anybody else have any ...

 Post subject: pointmaster pointing tool, any good?

Anyone used one?
Got a couple of chimney stacks to re point and was wondering if one of these would make the job easier and safer whilst i'm wobbling around around on the roof???
Tried one of the cheaper mastic type guns from screwfix and all it did was block up. This looks a much better idea though.

Are these -> http://www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-recip- ... ck-7/74561 Any good?

Or alternately, anyone got any recommendations for any *cheap* yet decent ankle boots(need to come in a 7 or an 8) (current pair are on their last legs, less tread than a set of race car tyres :lol: )

I'm looking for a wood saw blade for my 4" grinder. Like a circular saw blade but for my grinder!! I can't find them on screwfix!

It's a 115mm grinder.

 Post subject: B&Q tool sales.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 13, 2012 5:26 pm
In my local B&Q today & the staff were really giving it the hard sell with power tools etc.
I think they're having local deals here, but I'm not sure if it's national. They were saying things like 'This drill £xxx, but come & have a look, we'll see what we can do'. This was not old stock or anything!! So it may be worth a visit if your looking for something.
