I am about to buy a mitre cutoff saw.
I think that Evolution's Rage3 is a really good
product judging from the promotional video.
http://www.evolutionpowertools.co.uk/downloads/Rage3.wmv

What do you think? Is there anyone here who use this machine? Any reviews, thoughts, etc?
My only concern is the low speed of the blade. Only 2500rpm, while other give 4000 or more.
What about its price? Any special offer anywhere?

Has anybody else found that the belle mini mixers have gone downhill of late, particularly motor & switch becoming unreliable and lasting maybe 2 years if you're lucky.
Upto a few years ago they would go on and on for 6-10years with no faults then just die.

just to get the ball rolling on this machine, i'll start the thread.

I got my one from http://www.tradetiler.com/acatalog/Fein ... aster.html

Its been my main tool of choice now. Its one of those ones you didnt know how you ever did without it.

Mainly used for window refrub, you can cut a square out a corner of a frame, and replace with new. You would have had to chisel ...

 Post subject: P100 Planer
PostPosted: Wed Oct 11, 2006 3:16 pm
One time on site I was given a broken P100 planer by a carpenter. I said that all it probably needed were new brushes so I accepted it with open arms.

After taking it apart, I found it probably needed a new armature as well so I went to a firm that sold parts and bought new brushes and armature. When I put the new parts I found it was just the same - I ...

If you haven't already found out, i'm a tool nut. I love the things!!!!

This gadget is from a little firm from Western Australia. The Arbortech AS160 is a tool i reckon most tradesmen could use in their kit.

Have a look at the video of it working and you'll see that its the business.
