 Post subject: Scrapyards and Garages
PostPosted: Wed Dec 27, 2017 5:43 pm
I'm new to this DIY business and I don't want to spend too much money on spare parts and bits and bobs that I know that someone, somewhere will be throwing away- I always thought you could just walk into a junkyard/scrapyard and take whatever garbage you needed just like I always saw on TV but apparently not?
I mean they obviously make money from this rubbish and they pay people to take this rubbish ...

 Post subject: Airfix models
PostPosted: Fri Nov 24, 2017 1:40 am
This is a blast back to my childhood, I must have built at least 50 of these Airfix models, from tanks to ships to aeroplanes plus some other ones, back when I was an 8 to 10 year old.

I found 3 separate kits in Aldi for £4.99 each (the bin did say limited supply)
They are priced at £9.99 on the official siteas an example of one ...

Not sure if anyone is in the market for a new van but Ford have announced this new deal today. They are dressing it up as scrappage but essentially it is just a discount scheme which benefits the person who is trading in a cheapo knackered van. ... age-scheme
