 Post subject: 240v Electric Drill
PostPosted: Sun Jun 17, 2018 2:54 pm
I am tired of my lousy Ryobi Battery Drill and Battery Angle Grinder dying on me at the wrong time so I've decided I need a corded 240V pair as well.
For the angle grinder I'm getting:
DEWALT DWE490-GB 2000W 9" ANGLE GRINDER 240V

However when I look for a corded Electric drill literally every single search result keep giving me stuff that looks like an SDS drill???? I already have a corded SDS drill. ...

Post subject: The question about necessary length of the guide rail.
PostPosted: Thu May 24, 2018 7:02 pm
I want to buy a guide rail for my Dewalt DCS 576. Ideally, I plan to have two parts of the guide rail, to fold them, to cut a plywood with a length of 2.44 m.

Since I'm a newbie and just started working as a carpenter, I still learn everything, I do not really know what I need, so I decided to ask the following:
Now it seems to me that it makes no ...

PostPosted: Fri Dec 08, 2017 7:20 pm
Trying to connect the dust port of my saw to my Henry Hoover. I know its not a perfect solutionbut its early days.

Stuck at the first hurdle. The saw port seems to measure OD 39mm and ID 36mm.

Any one solved how to take that to a vacum - Henry is OD 32mm and ID 28mm

Any other suggestions

Thank you

David

I have been on the Dewalt website and there are many 18 volt drills. Now I'm not a tradesman so I dont know all my stuff so can anyone tell me what the differences are between the drills?
You have 1x 9 volt and 3 with 5ah wahtever that is and two other 18v. Are they just serial numbers of older models and any 18 volt will do or is there new tech on some? ...

PostPosted: Wed Jun 14, 2017 5:44 pm
Hello...i have just bought the above 54v flexvolt strimmer/brushcutter.
The problem is,when you go to put the brushcutter blade on,the bolt on the machine is too short by about half an inch, leaving you no room for the final nut.
No one seems to know about this.
Can anyone help?

Here lies my dilemma, the DW088K is widely recognised as the best laser on the market currently, and is my first choice when looking to buy a laser.
However I would much prefer DW088CG version of the same laser, which has the green beam instead of the ...
