Hello all,

I've attempted to move all the data on my old windows laptop over to my new Mac using a ethernet cable and migration assistant.

Both computers seemed to acknowledge each other and the migration took 7 and a half hours to complete, both computers said that the migration was successful.

On re-starting the new Mac I can find Nothing transferred???? ....anybody know where all this data can be found on the Mac???

Thinking of upgrading my computer from XP Home service pack 3, to Vista Or Windiws7. I have checked the specs for both systems, and realise that I will have to upgrade the Ram and maybe the graphics card (direct x9) at the moment.
