I wonder if anyone has any details on these, they stopped manufacturing them in 2008. There's a few apparently around Salford & Manchester, also in the NW of England. I'm looking for some spares.
Thanks for reading.

Hello...
This is my first post here.. I have been doing up a place for a while now and I am about to put the stove in... I had a friend that was a plumber and he was going to help me.. However he passed away last week.

He gave me a list of things to get which I now have. I have asked other people around and no one seems to understand the system ...

I have a Baxi Potterton combi boiler that has been installed for around three years. The boiler stopped working over the weekend and the flame failure light comes on when I call for heat or run a hot tap. I have been able to get it working again by resetting but only temporarily.

My knowledge of combi boilers is very basic and I’ve no intention of attempting any work myself, I have contacted ...

I have a ravenheat CS1 85 it was serviced earlier this year, i haver changed the 3 way valve about 8 months ago.
The hot water wont fire up and the CH is working fine.

Post subject: Gravity System - Central Heating on main water supply off
PostPosted: Sun May 20, 2012 7:12 pm
Hi All,

Great end to a weekend the ball value in bottom tank (gravity system) has died, so I've had to turn the main water supply off until I can get a plumber to replace the value. Where I live it still gets a bit cold in the morning so I still need the central heating on just to warm the lounge. Can I still use my central heating even if the main water supply ...

PostPosted: Sun May 20, 2012 10:32 am
Hi All,

Whilst still running my Potterton boiler is now 30 years old and obsolete so it's time to replace it.

I have had three quotes all for different boilers and all contradicting each other so first can anyone answer these questions :-

1/ Do Worchester-Bosch boilers (24Ri or 30CDi) require a pump overrun cable to be fitted otherwise the guarantee is invalidated ?

2/ Do all new boilers require a powerflush otherwise the guarantee ...

Post subject: Chaffeteaux & Maury Calydra.
PostPosted: Sat May 19, 2012 10:44 am
Hi,
I have a Chaffeteaux & Maury Calydra which seems to work intermittently. However, if the outer casing and inner casing are both removed, then it seems to work ok! Can I therefore assume that this could point to a faulty air sensor?
Perhaps someone could enlighten me?

Please help. My boiler pressure has dropped after I bleed my radiators. I know I need to re-fill the pressure and need to turn a valve, but i'm not sure which one. I've attached a picture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Tina
