PostPosted: Thu Nov 19, 2009 2:16 pm
This review is aimed at the DIY novices who have never bought or used a jigsaw

A year ago I bought a cheapo Jigsaw from Argos, I didn’t know if I needed it so just got it anyway. Price £25. The picture shown is in blue but the one I got is grey, Apart from colour there is no fundamental difference.

For someone who is new to DIY you would be forgiven for buying ...

Post subject: Erbauer Sliding Mitre Saw
PostPosted: Sat Nov 07, 2009 3:36 pm
I got an 8" Ebauer Saw early this morning. Overall, it seems not bad. I think the reviews on screwfix are too generous though.

Good points

Bad Points

It is fantastic value for money, but it does state that it is for diy use, not professional builders, so if you are one, don't tell tesco or it will likely invalidate the guarentee ...

PostPosted: Thu Dec 18, 2008 12:49 pm
Hi, I bought one of those 6KG Titan SDS drills for £40 on screwfix. It is a real cheapo drill but actually for doing a few jobs it’s a real bargain, its heavy, clunky, comes in a crap case and you would swear it was made by Fisher Price  but for the DIY man it’s just the ticket.

I removed all my bathroom tiles in about ...
