This Old House with Steve and Norm was a classic :thumbright:

I used to watch it one Discovery and then Discovery Home & Leisure back when I had Analog Cable.

Blu - I think the "Other bearded one" you may be thinking of is Bob Vila (pronounced Ve-la) who presented This Old House originally, then had a spat and went to do his own program. Never really liked Bob Vila - very abrasive character.

Can't remember the name of her, but there was a good Female (!!) presenter of one of these american shows which is worth watching if it comes up. (gonna have to Google until I find the name now :cussing: :cussing: )

UPDATE: JoAnne (JoJo) Liebeler was the name of the Bint with a Hammer - presented a Show called "Hometime" - which is still running after 22 years, but I think I liked her in her own show "Home Savvy"

Hoovie, American DIY TV Anorak at your service :salute:

I've seen neither on tv. I occassionally see diy sites with a bearded American who does "how to" videos.
