Hi, just got delivered a new toilet bowl (idea standard) ... at the very bottom of the trap the ceramic is so thin as if it only has the glaze holding it together. That area looks like it has a casting mark on it. How thin is normal ... being able to see the light quite clearly is acceptable.

I'm no expert (in anything), but doens't sound right.....my poo would burn through that!

The toilet I had was solid cast all the way through - no light/weak looking bits

The merchant took it back ... it is certainly not right. I will not start discussing what may happen if ...

How are you doing with the shower door hinges? :laughing3:
