Sound as a pound - found the lime chips local, about 5 years worth by the looks of it!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mcalpine-SOAK1GR-Soakaway-Grey/dp/B003KMA8SY

That was the one I found. First couple of links made me think WOAHHHHH - saw that a couple of heating co's charge 160+VAT to install those!

It's all relative, I guess in the grand scheme of things.

Getting excited about this place, just rads to size (guess you can't go a million miles wrong with the sizes that are there, but newer double jobbies) - boiler though :dunno:

Anyone that can't dig an 400mm hole and stick a pot in it deserves to get ripped off for £160.00 plus VAT

Boiler I know I keep on but Intergas or Atmos Intergas, both virtually the same boiler.

If its near the boys get them to give you a quote, they can offer a 5year warranty as they have done the course.

Thought they were system boilers?

I know everyone hates them, but had a combi in mind for the space reasons (no room for tanks /etc) and there are only two going to be living there with minimal water demands (shower is elec). Running cost is a biggie here, which is why I wasn't going for stored water.

edit....agree with the ripoff thing. Must admit, they were worded well though.....so I could see why people would fall for it!

Liking the look of those.......seem a bit like voodoo though. I guess the beauty is in the simplicity.

I reckon it's got to last 4 years if all goes to plan, so should be just the ticket.

Manawac probably does not want to embarrass you by posting pictures of all that rough pipework you fired in

fitted loads of intergas boiler now, all work great. :thumbright: also if you do get a intergas boiler installed I will buy the boiler back off you in 4 years time for £100 :thumbleft:

Bargain Mehran....although, reading the destruction manual - it can also pretend to be a system boiler, which might be part of my plans.....hmmm......................................................

I like what we did at Daughters.

Combi doing the kitchen/utility, then the cylinder serving the bathroom on an Y plan.
