Guys, I have just fitted two new sinks from Wickes, no wastes supplied so bought a couple of pop ups! Firstly used the washers, both leaking....then took them both out and used some plumbers mait, no leaks initially but been on holiday and customers says both are leaking again, embarrassing! What is the fail safe solution? Take them out, clean and silicone them in?

Another thing also was the wastes don't seem to sit snuggly in the contour of the bowl?

Any help!!!!

Chris

Plumbers mait will seal it, but be aware that after the initial tightening the plumbers mait relaxes a bit and another nip up usually is required. Best when everything is dry, so redo again.
