Hi All, I am a wood turner and wood worker and I also keep koi carp.

I am retired so lots of time for the things I could not do when working.

Higly recommended.

Regards
Ray

Hi,

Thanks for the comments.

I own a lot of items and timbers from R.M.S Olympic the sister ship to the ill-fated Titanic so most of the items I make are from the ship.

The Olympic was launched in 1912 and was her fittings sold of in 1935

The timbers are nearly 100 years old when fitted to Olympic and are top quality it ia a pleasur to work with them.

More photos can be found @ http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x229 ... lock02.jpg

Not yet sure how to link my album so any help would be apreciated

Regards
Ray

Hi Ray,

welcome to the forum :thumbright:

I just edited your post so that the link to your album is clickable

There is some nice work there, it must take a long time and you must have lots of patience.

Hi,

Thanks for that :thumbright:

The carving takes the most time I tend to do an hour or so at a time then move on to something else.

I now do not know how I had time for work

The koi take up a fair bit of time also, The water quality takes a lot of attention to keep the Koi in top health.

Regards
Ray
