Hi there

I'm a recently set up handyman working in Wales. I've been advised by my accountant to set up as a limited company so I've been through all that paperwork and done it.

I've been trawling the internet and also trying myself to set up a spreadsheet so every month I can enter my earnings to calculate 1) how much take home salary/dividend and how much corp/dividend tax to put aside...but having no luck!

Can anyone please advise before I go mad!!

Thanks, Rich

Ask your accountant what software he prefers using then use this as well.

Mine uses Xero, so I do as well.

The license is included in my monthly accountant fees, as is a subscription to Receipt Bank.

Save an awful lot of time and work using them.

Oh and :welcome:

Thanks for your reply, only reading it now.

My accountant uses one, not Xero, but similar. If I use that, will it work out monthly how much corp/income tax I should be putting away?

Thanks again
