I have just got my new cooker and was hoping to fit the cable myself. The voltage requirement is equal to the previous cooker (same size, number of ovens etc).

The terminal board at the back of the cooker reads L L N N N. There is no earth connection.

The instruction, which I had to download http://www.electrolux-ui.com/2011/892/941163EN.pdf

suggest that the arth connects to the central Neutral?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rick

Hi,

The model is Zanussi ZCV550MWC.

I can't find any better installation instructions than the one I previously posted.

Rick, I have tried the link too and that doesn't work for me either - did it work for you?

I have even popped onto the Zanusi website and the links for 4 manuals on there don't work for me either.

Hi Mike,

It downloaded for me but all it shows is: L L N N N connections with no earth. I've taken the panel off the cooker and the diagram is what I'm seeing.

The diagram is useless with no real directions to where to wire the cable.

You're right. On the cooker it doesn't have the E position.

What can I say. Symbols confuse me.

Thanks Dave.

No worries :thumbright: be careful dont forget to turn any circuit you are looking at off, and if in doubt get a qualified electrician to do any electrical work :)

All wired in and seems to be working well.

Thanks again to all who responded.
