Hi

I've recently had a double glazing patio door fitted and im not sure how to go about fitting the net back on, I used to have a wooden frame onto the brick so I had a net wire stretched out and the net on this. But now that I have upvc into the brick I don't really want to drill a role into it.

I know about these and the adjustable pole that sits on there http://www.justpoles.com/uploads/images ... e/9619.jpg but these are either sticky tap or superglue job at the back, this works fine for a small net in my kitchen, but I dont think it will work
for a big patio door net which is kinda thick and has some weight.

How do you do it?

Put the net frame up, mark the screw locations with the pencil. Dril a TINY pilot hole into the plastic trim and screw the hooks into that - it will be fine!

The plastic trim will be siliconed upto the ceiling and willl hold the weight of nets....if it don't you can always stick it back up! :)

Alternative is to screw a wooden batten up like you have with the curtains!
