Hi
I have a Myson 800 Kickspace plinth heater. The fan continues to run even when the central heating is off and the water is cold. I assume this is because the low limit thermostat (part no. 1260007) is not working.
Could there be any other reason?
If not, how do I fit a new thermostat?
Cheers

It seems likely you are correct, it should switch at 35 degrees, but Myson do have various models so can't be 100% sure.

:welcomeuhm:

The electrical connections on Myson parts come with just simple spade terminals on them. So it a pull off push on job for the electrical work.

I have fitted a few remote stats but never replaced a low level stat. I assume that it just clips to a pipe and goes closed circuit when it reaches a certain temperature. The low level stat is left in place when fitting the remote stats

Disconnecting the stat by removing one of the blue wires to the summer/winter switch should prove that it is the stat at fault as this will stop the fan blowing when the heating is off.

Thank you for your help, problem now solved. Myson's counter intuitive switch settings (winter & summer symbols on the switch don't look like the usual ones) led me to have it on summer setting instead of winter! Driver error!
