I need to move a radiator and been reading up about the fact i have to protect the pipes etc. from concrete. This was looking complicated and too hard, so just had a guy round to quote me for this bit and he said hes going to use sleeved copper pipe.

Is this ok?
I thought i had to put it in ducting to make it accessible. In fact if i had known this it would have made life a lot easier.

There is only 50mm screed going down as well. (all that is required).

plastic coated copper is about the best you can use.

What size and what are they being used for, domestic needs a duct, heating is ok.

its standard radiator in my kitchen

Plastic coat will be fine then, wrap any joints in the screed with tape though.
