I got the builder to open the chimney breast up in our kitchen and had most of the kitchen fitted I took out part of of the kitchen near chimney breast for the gasman to hook up the oven and when I did the plaster board on the chinmey had green mould only at the bottom and it's only been done like 3weeks and don't know why,any ideas?

Il summarise so its easier to read,opened up chimney breast to put oven in,plaster boarded over part of chimney breast,fitted kitchen,removed a cupboard and found green mould on the plaster board,the plaster board has only been done a couple of weeks ago.I took some pictures and would appreciate any solutions

havent looked at the pictures
you need to find the source off the dampness which can be down the chimnie rising damp penetrating damp or a leak
