I wonder how many of the 650 potential looters in the House of Commoners will be looting and raiding the expenses kitty after being recalled from holidays.
You know the type, been paddling in Pwllheli or building sand castles in Skegness but claim for a first class flight from Mauritius or Miami and return afterwards.
Did all 650 actually come back from their holidays or did some stay away on the off chance of not being missed, but will still claim expenses? Hope some one checked who clocked on and who was missing. The Daily Telegraph should run another whistle blower article on these “looters”.

Saw Hazel Blears condemning the thieving looters and rioters for the theft and damage to property in London and elsewhere. Pretty sure it was the same Hazel Blears who looted the expenses kitty a couple of years ago and paid a little of it back but would not resign. The BITCH.

I would not condone the looters for one minute but for some MPs to appear on TV and complain when they were doing the same sort of thing of robbing the public blind two years ago is a little more than can be stomached at this time.

The same thing crossed my mind, I bet the expenses being claimed will be unreal, I could see no reason to recall them all, maybe a urgent government meeting ,mind you ,you can do that through conference calls now but the general sheeple like to see them running around getting harassed by second rate reporters

I am still getting over sky interviewing four lads this morning all masked up on the banks of the Thames, bragging how they loaded vans up with stuff and one 16 year old saying he needed stuff for his kid !!, they should be given no air space and been arrested
Sky should be ashamed of themselves broadcasting that

Here's another gem from the bloggers - someone has identified MPs speaking (hypocritically) in the House of Commons with their own 'misdemeanors' as follows:

Gerald Kaufman (£43,564 expenses including 4 grapefruit bowls at £540) "I condemn the naked greed of these criminals and their taking advantage of their pampered and privileged opportunities .."
David Wilshire (£160,532 expenses including £100k on a flat 15 miles from main home) "My honourable friend has hit the nail on the head. This is not about ideology, it's sheer naked greed"
John Healey (£84,562 expenses including £6,194 for renovating his kitchen) "We should understand a little less and condemn a little more, Mr Speaker; only tough action against these feral youths will ..."
Speaker (£146,780 expenses) "Order! Order! Members must set an example to young people!"

I have never understood the Sentences in courts in England. Examples:-

Man aged 40 defrauds his employer and clients who have trusted him of £ 100,000. Sentence 12 Month. Open Prison Out in 4 months on a tag.

Boy 16 puts on hood, grabs kitchen knife, robs Petrol Station of £ 860. Sentence 4 Years. Feltham Young Offenders Institution. Out in 2 years without tag.

MP's, white collar fraudsters and other crooks in professional jobs never serve much time in the UK. I have met too many crooked lawyers, accountants, brokers etc who at the stroke of a pen can earn thousands by bending the rules.

People in positions of trust who commit crime should receive the longest sentences in the toughest prisons.

In spite of Scotland having more than it's fair share of poverty and social problems, there were not riots. The statistic which jumps out at me when seeking to explain this is that Scotland is 97.99% White by population. London is 60% white by population. Manchester is 75% White, Birmingham 65% White.

Accounting for all things, Immigration, not foreigners are the problem.

 ahhh I thought they actually said those things today, to good to be true, still makes a good point.

were talking about the london riots today , as were working close to tottenham, (am i the only one more aware of sirens and choppers in London lately) saying they will most likely cancel this years Notting hill carnival. no amount of PC plod, with their hands tied, could handle a crowd that size if it all kicks off that close to the likes of chelsea.

Cancelling the carnival might encourage the black community to police their youth more effectively.
