Jasper Carrot, as well as being a funny guy, he's dead right about blowing it's bloody head off, best way to get rid of a mole.
Humane pest control does not work. Get a pickaxe or a garden fork and try and pin the mole down, so to speak.

I've seen one of these in use which does the job, stand well back.

Also seen a pipe fastened to a car exhaust and pump into a mole run.
